18+ WARNING!!!! READ THIS BEFORE BROWSING THE REST OF THIS PAGE

CW: In-depth discussions of mental illness & trauma; mentions of child abuse and potentially MORE!!!

Our DID writings are, predictably, going to be about DID. DID develops because of trauma at a young age. This necessitates that at least some of the content on this page is going to mention and explore mature and potentially traumatic subjects of that nature.

I can’t physically (or psychically) stop those under 18 years of age from browsing this page, but for the love of god please be hyperaware that you are not supposed to be here. Personally, I do think there is value in children and teenagers learning about trauma and mental illness, but THIS SITE SPECIFICALLY is not the place for you to do that, and I am legally obligated to cover my ass when it comes to having this stuff on the internet.

The warnings on this page do not mean that we are going to go in-depth about our trauma, nor that people should ask us about it. We will divulge exactly the amount that we are willing to share about ourselves, and nothing more.

Sidenote: when we say the word DID, we also mean OSDD-1b (though a lot of our writings apply to OSDD-1a as well), DDNOS, and any other experience of disordered plurality that has some label or other. DID is just the fastest shorthand to say all of that. For more information on why we don’t bother differentiating, see point #4 in our DID manifesto.

Oh, and we also use I/we pretty interchangeably. There’s that.

Have a good time browsing. Hope you learn something new that you’ve never thought about before.
